Terms And Conditions

Confirmation:

On initiating a booking with Terra Ignota Tours (Division of Blue Highways Tours Pvt. Ltd.), the customer will receive a confirmation of services from us. This confirmation will include all details of the travel arrangements booked and may also contain additional terms and conditions issued by Terra Ignota Tours (Division of Blue Highways Tours Pvt. Ltd.) along with an invoice for the trip.

Reservations:

10% deposit is required at the time of booking. Final payments are due 45 days prior to start of the tour (or as specified in your confirmation letter and invoice)

Travel Documents:

Upon receipt of final payment, Terra Ignota Tours (Division of Blue Highways Tours Pvt. Ltd.) will send the customer all the hotel vouchers and other travel documents for the booked and paid tour.

Passport and Visa:

It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure that they hold a passport which is valid for a minimum period of six (6) months from the date of return of your trip. The customer shall be required to obtain the required visas themselves. Please note that the cost of visas is not included in the Tour Price stated in any proposals or trip itineraries sent to the customer by us.

Cancellation & Refund Policy:

All refunds in the event of cancellation or change shall be subject to the cancellation charges as follows:
30-16 days prior to start of the tour..... 60% cancellation charge of the total cost
15 days to the date of start of the tour... 100% cancellation charge of the total cost
(Some programs may have different cancellation policy which will be specified in the confirmation letter sent to the customer)
Terra Ignota Tours (Division of Blue Highways Tours Pvt. Ltd.) shall disburse any applicable refund amount within thirty (30) days of the receipt of the request/instruction to cancel or change the tour & the refund will be routed through the same mode in which the payment was received.

Travel Insurance:

The customers are strongly advised to obtain travel cancellation insurance and travel insurance prior to the period of travel.

Prices are subject to change without notice, if there is a change in the exchange rates, taxes, fuel surcharges or in the prices associated with our suppliers, hotels, transportation etc. The travel plan, the sequence of cities to follow or the number of nights in each city in the tour program may change due to change in the trip logistics. We reserve all rights to provide alternative hotels if the proposed or confirmed are not available for some reason. If any reason beyond our control the reserved flights change the airfares, any increase in rates will be collected from passengers traveling. The airlines concerning not be liable for any act or omission in the event that passengers are not on board the aircraft. Terra Ignota Tours (Division of Blue Highways Tours Pvt. Ltd.) is not responsible for any expenses incurred by customer for emergencies during the tour which may amount to return prematurely and amount to costs of medical equipment, Air Tickets, etc. Baggage is entirely the responsibility of the passenger.

Circumstances Beyond Our Control:

Blue Highways Tours Pvt. Ltd. (its division Terra Ignota Tours), its employees, shareholders, directors, officers, agents and assigns (collectively Blue Highways Tours Pvt. Ltd.), does not own any entity which is providing goods or services for your trip and act only in the capacity of agents related to supply of hotels, tours, transportation, flights, train tickets, ground handling, restaurants and other travel related services, etc. purchased from independent suppliers. All such persons and entities are independent contractors as a result Blue Highways Tours Pvt. Ltd. is not liable for any omission, negligent or willful act of any such person or entity of any third person. In addition and without limitation, Blue Highways Tours Pvt. Ltd. is not responsible for any injury, loss, death, inconvenience, delay or damage to personal property in connection with the provision of any goods or services whether resulting from but not limited to acts of God or force majeure, illness, disease, acts of war, civil unrest, insurrection or revolt, animals, strikes or other labor activities, criminal or terrorist activities of any kind, overbooking or downgrading of services, food poisoning, mechanical or other failure of aircraft or other means of transportation or for failure of any transportation mechanism to arrive or depart on time. The tour participant expressly waives all rights, which he or she may have against Blue Highways Tours Pvt. Ltd. in connection with the foregoing. Any unresolved dispute or controversy arising under or in connection with the services provided by Terra Ignota Tours (Division of Blue Highways Tours Pvt. Ltd.) shall be subject to Jurisdiction in New Delhi, India.
